  • I love drawing and creating.
  • I am just going to finish this one last part of my drawing.
  • Cara, table time is finished. The timer went and we need you to join us at the carpet.
  • Let's start our group time. Does anyone have quick news or feelings talk?
  • If I keep reminding her and insisting that she join us I will take away time from our group and we will get into a power struggle. She is not disturbing anyone.
  • I do not want to get into an argument. I need to stay calm.
  • I knew Cara would join us quietly when she was done. Cara needs more patience and time for transitions. She needs me to stay calm and to believe in her. I will have a private conversation with her later and ask for her help to come up with some strategies to help her.
