  • Breast cancer symptoms should always be check with your doctor as soon as possible
  • What are the symptoms of breast cancer?
  • Breast cancer is about 100 times less common among men than among women, but men do get it
  • Breast cancer is when a malignant tumor that had developed from cells in the breast
  • The number of deaths was 21.9 per 100,000 women per year. These rates are age-adjusted and based on 2008-2012 cases and deaths.
  • You should go see a doctor when any of the following symptoms occur. A painless lump in your breast or armpit. A change in the size or shape of the breast. Changes in the skin of the breast, such as a dimple or skin that looks like an orange peel. A change in the nipple, such as scaling of the skin, a nipple that turns in, or discharge or bleeding.
  • Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week
  • Although breast cancer is more common in woman, men can also have the breast tissue and can still get the cancer.
  • Take the simple time to give yourself a breast exam to be safe.
  • About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In 2015, an estimated 231,840 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S.
  • Living a healthy life, such as no smoking, no alcohol, being overall physically active, and avoiding any such radiation or pollution will lower your risk and getting breast cancer.
  • Adult woman are supposed to give themselves breast exams at least once a month to concur of any signs of breast cancer.
