Storyboard Text

  • He is finally home! I cannot wait to hear about his day!
  • I cannot believe what he just said.  I am in shock.
  • Let me cook you supper.
  • Mary, I hope you dont' blame me.  But I want a divorce.
  • What just happened!?  Why did I do this!?
  • This reveals that Mary Malonely actually enjoys her husbands company and becomes excited when he comes home.  This complicates the plot because this conlicts with her actions that happen later on in the story.
  • Let me make a mess so it makes it look like someone is here, and then call the cops to make me look innocent
  • Hello 911
  • Mary Maloney was in shock when she was told by her husband that he wants a divorce, however she could not say much so she told him he must eat and that she will cook, due to the time period she was living in she was not expected to become angry and talk back to the man.  This complicates the plot because although she is not supposed to become angry at the man, she conflicts this by killing him.  This relates to Roles of Women in the 1950's.
  • This reveals that Mary Maloney was in shock and was not fully aware what was going on, she hopes that when she comes home from the store later, everything will be back to normal.  However, this complicates the plot becuase Mary realizes that it was real when she killed him, and so then she tried to act like she was innocent.
  • This reveals that Mary is sane and knows she killed her husband, it shows this because she is to make it look like she is innocent.  This relates to a perfect murder because she is trying to make it look like someone else did it.
