Before the late 17th century, the farmers lived peacefully in the countryside and they made money by selling the crops they harvested to the markets
During the late 17th century, the British Governments sold private properties to the wealthy class so they can build factories and have machines to work for them.
The farmers lost their land because of the British Enclosure Movement and they are now forced to work in the cities.
