While Paleolithic People had to hunt and gather, Neolithic People learned to domesticate animals, making animals easier to get. Also, they learned to cultivate land to grow crops to eat so they did not have to gather different plants in the wilderness.
Also, Neolithic People learned about flint, which could be hit against a rock and would make small shards which could be made for axes. Also, They discovered obsidian, which could be used to make excellent knife blades.
In the Paleolithic Times, groups called nomads traveled together in groups of 20-30 people. Because of the Domestication of Animals and Cultivation of crops, Societies Began to form, and the populations of these societies grew in HUGE numbers.
These Benefits of the Neolithic Time period vastly improved human lives, because Domestication and Agriculture led to people having spare time to refine special skills, so specialization of jobs appeared.
