I do not want to talk right now, Rachel. I am trying to do my work.
What is going on over there....
When in this situation it is important to be sure that the parents are always aware of what is going on with their child. So it would be very important to bring this to the parents attention. As said on page 264 "Generally speaking, a medical evaluation is designed to rule out medical conditions that might be contributing to the pupil's hyperactivity and/ or inattention." Children need to be medically evaluated in this case to rule out any other possibilities. I wonder though once the student is medically diagnosed with ADHD, how would a teacher handle an outburst in the classroom? What would be the best way for a teacher to calm a student down in this situation?
What is going on with Rachel??
Mrs. Jones and I think that Rachel is showing signs of ADHD.
