- At the beginning of this short story, Eckels goes to the place with the time machine and the person there was sitting at the desk and was saying that Deutscher was an inti-christ, and Keith was the one that was elected

- In the time machine, Travis was saying how not to step of the path because if he kills even the smallest thing like butterfly then it would cause a chain reaction

- Eckels was regretting going on this trip so he decided to go back but he didn't know where to go and on his way back he steps on a butterfly

- they shot the t-rex and Eckles had to clean up they let a tree fall on him and kill him all the way
- in the time machine they talked about what happens when they get back to normal and how it wouldn't be the same and how Travis is going to kill Eckels if it changed
- when they got back the way they wrote changed and the person at the desk thought that Keith wouldn't be a good president and how they were glad that Deutscher got in
