Marcus is Tolerant because he doesn't live in a good place because he lives under a house alone and he is kind of okay with it.
Marcus is Tolerant here because he sat with his friend who had shot himself on accident and Marcus was put to blame and he accepted it.
That night he was put in Jail on the assumption he killed his friend, Marcus claimed that this was the only time he's cried and nobody saw it as well or was allowed to see it.
Marcus is stuck in a classroom that is divided and he hasn't lost it in there yet so I believe this scene shows tolerance.
Marcus is strong enough to admit what has happened to him and accepts it and it is proved through this line game.
Marcus is able to talk about his past after a little while of knowing Mrs.Gruwell
