  • The Enclosure Movement was a period of dividing land, which was a cause of The Agricultural Revolution by changing the way landowners use their land.
  • The Agricultural Revolution was a period of many innovations in farming, which led to The Industrial Revolution due to investing in manufactures and businesses.
  • Many peasants and farm workers began to move into larger cities for work, which is also known as urbanization. This was the leading cause of the Industrial Revolution.
  • Life was very different for factory workers compared to bosses during the Industrial Revolution. The workers had long hours and next to no pay in bad conditions. The bosses had lots of pay for not many hours of work
  • Important inventions of the Industrial Revolution include the Spinning Jenny. It sped up the weaving process, and essentially took out the Cottage Industry/ Domestic System.
  • The Industrial Revolution had many positive and negative effects. Negative effects include overcrowding and pollution, and some positive effects include many new inventions and modernizations.
