  • I am so happy!
  • I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!
  • What a good boy. Hee-Hee
  • Hmm...
  • Demeter was one of the sisters of Zeus, she had a very important job, she was the god of harvest and agriculture. If Demeter was not happy the crops would die and everyone would starve. It was important to both gods and mortals to keep her happy.
  • WHY!!!
  • Demeter had a lovely daughter who she loved very much. When they play together and Persephone looks up at her mom with a big smile her heart swells with happiness, making the crops grow high and the flowers bloom everywhere.  When time passed Persephone turned into a lovely godess.
  • I MISS HER!!!
  • A gloomy fellow named Hades, the king of the under world. He loved his dog ,Cerberus.  Hades watched as his dog got out and sniffed the flowers and play with Persephone.  As Hades heard  Persephone lovely laughter he started to fall  in love.  That is when he grabbed both his niece and dog then took of  before anyone could stop him.
  • I do...
  • I DO!!!
  • Hades brought Persephone back and locked her in a lovely room. He brought her great and amazing food. But she refused to eat it, she heard if you eat anything in Hades you couldn't leave. It wasn't tell a week later that she got so hungry she ate six pomegranate seeds, she was very upset.
  • She was not the only one upset, Demeter bursting in tears. She didn't care if the crops died. She didn't car about anything except getting her daughter back.  Zeus heard about this and sent his son ,Hermes, to make a deal with Hades.
  • The deal was that Persephone would marry Hades and she would become the queen of the under world for six months, winter. The next six months, spring, she would get to return home and live with her mom on  Earth. No one liked the deal, but this is to explain the seasons. When Persephone comes home  during spring Demeter would make everything welcoming, but when Persephone would leave she would ignore the crops and flowers.
