But the boat! It's been damaged by the waves, we have to stop!
No need to fear, we will fix the boat and keep going! Also, God WILL be on our side!
Hmm, there's quite the abundance of corn and beans here!
Maybe we can "borrow" them. I'm *sure* they won't mind at all!!
Happy to have made a Peace Treaty with you!
Me too! Now lets go have a feast!!
In chapter 9, the boat keeps getting damaged by the strong waves and harsh weather conditions. Instead of stopping their journey, they constantly repair the boat after it breaks several times so they can continue their voyage. The Puritains also believe that God is on their side and will in fact help them out.
In Chapter 10, the Puritans come across the crops that the Indians had. Because they despised them, they decided to steal some of their crops which included corn and beans.
In Chapter 11, the Puritains decide to make a peace offering with the Indians. They all decide to respect one another and not cause anymore chaos. This then leads to everyone agreeing to help out each other and a 3-day feast (the first Thanksgiving).
