In Mary shelly's Frankenstein the author establishes themes such as using nature as a healing force, and that prejudice has its negative effects. She creates the theme of prejudice by putting the reader in the monster's shoes as he is wronged my mankind. Nature acts as a healing force as it brings a sense of stability and peace to the characters as they take in its beauty.
