Storyboard Text

  • In the beginning, there was nothing.
  • Long before earth was created, Niflheim was made. There 12 rivers were risen.
  • To the South of these rivers was a land called Muspell, a region of heat and brightness. It was guarded by a giant named Surt, who wielded a flaming sword
  • To the North was Ginnungagap, a land of frozen everything.
  • When the sparks from Muspell melted the ice at the edge of Ginnungagap, the drips formed the first frost-giant, named Ymir.
  • As the ice melted more, a cow was created. Her milk formed four rivers from which Ymir was fed. The cow fed off of the salt of the rime ice, and as she did so, a mans head emerged.
