Storyboard Text

  • Night One: Two Days Before Short-Story Due Date
  • Oh no! What am I going to do! I have no clue how to write this scene the way I want it be...maybe I should quit. Maybe I'm not cut out to be an author...
  • Same Night
  • It's no use...this story is getting pathetic. My teacher won't like it! Hell, no one will - Oh! Is that my phone ringing? TJ?
  • Isis: "Not good...I can barely write a sentence without thinking my work belongs in a landfill."
  • Same Night
  • TJ: Man, that's a fat mood. But you can do itI Isis! Just think about how amazing it's going to feel when you hand it in! Think about how much it's going to help you improve your writing skills!
  • TJ: "Hey, Isis. How's the story writing coming along?"
  • It was two days before the due date of Isis's first short story, and she was suffering from a major case of writer's block. The stress was getting to her, how could she finish her story with so few pages left in such little time!
  • Same Night (But with a more motivated attitude)
  • Isis was beginning to lose hope in herself and her capabilities. Then, thankfully, her phone rang as a distraction from her distress.
  • Early Morning: The Next Day
  • Useless.
  • Is she dead...? Can I get her room if she is?
  • Despite her misery, Isis managed to find some sort of motivation through her friend. She suddenly realized that she had to try harder and have a little more faith in herself.
  • Day Time: AKA DUE DATE!
  • Isis talked for a bit longer with her friend then hung up with a overwhelming feeling of conviction that she had to finish her story. Suddenly, she was flooded with new ideas of every kind. Isis picked up her laptop, and for the first time that night, she felt like writing.
  • THIS IS PERFECT! I have so many new ideas now! Okay so let's make the character...
  • Here lies Isis after staying up all night writing her short-story. She was satisfied with her work and finally felt a sense of pride in herself. However, if she didn't wake up she was probably going to miss school as usual...
  • Hey. Isis, wake up. Aren't you gonna be late?
  • After a few minutes Isis wakes up in a panic and hurriedly gets dress for school. Time to hand in her short-story!
  • AH! Time to go!
