  • Sorry I cannot sell to you. Only sell to the British.
  • The navigation act states that colonists can only trade with the British. British forbade colonists to trade with any other country than England.
  • King George lll took taxes off of paper, pencil, lead, and paint. He didn't take taxes off of tea and that got people mad so they threw all the teat they had in the Boston harbor.

  • The Stamp Act required colonists to pay for a stamp on all paper products. As a result angry colonists would tar and feather tax collectors.

  • Watch out we will fire!!
  • In the Boston Massacre, Colonists threw snowballs and other things at British soldiers. Five colonists die from the British soldiers shooting into the crowd.
  • British fought militias at Lexington and Concord. Colonists fight back and force British to retreat to Boston.
  • We are ready to fight!!
  • France and Britian both claimed the Ohio River Valley as their own territory. This caused tension which led to the French and Indian War.
