The Georgia militia came to Tsali's house and told his wife that they were going to move them.
Tsali's son went to tell his father the news. Tsali decided they would hide out in the woods.
They stayed in a cave waiting for night to come so they could go get the women.
When they came to get the women they saw that the white men had set up camps. So, they very cautiously gathered the women and went back to the woods.
The white men brought their dog and it caught the Indian's scent.
Tsali and his two older sons stayed behind on their own land, despite the fact that they knew they would be shot.
