  • Hitler and Mussolini created an alliance called the Axis Powers, later aligning with Japan to strengthen their intentions underneath battling communism.
  • Japan, Germany, and Italy worked together and signed the Anti-Comintern, to stop the spread of Communism. Later the three nations entered World War II as the Axis Powers.
