Storyboard Text

  • The ghost of christmas present brought scrooge to his nephews party, only to see that his nephews friends were all making fun of him. This is indirect characterization because by other people we discover more about scrooges personality and what other people think about him.
  • "It's your uncle scro-o-o-o-oge!"
  • This shows indirect characterization because Scrooge was a lonely child alone on Christmas, and that's why today he is a mean spirited person on Christmas, because when he was younger he was always alone and forgotten during holidays.
  • This scene shows symbolism. The graveyard represents his future if he doesn't change his ways soon. If he doesn't he will die and end up like Marley.
  • Ebenezer Scrooge December 25
  • Tin Tim symbolizes Christmas spirit in the cratchit family. When tiny Tim dies, all the Christmas spirit is gone. But alive, even though Tim is poor and sick, he is still happy and grateful for what he has.
  • This scene shows indirect characterization. Scrooge was so mean and cheap as a person, that when the ghost of yet to come showed him how people would react to his death, he discovers no one would want to show up. Only if there's lunch said one of them.
  • It's likely to be a very cheap funeral.
  • The ghost of Jacob Marley has lots of chains hanging off of him. These chains symbolize everything bad he did in his life, and how he was an unkind, rude, careless man. The chains also symbolize scrooges future if he doesn't change.
