Romulus and Remus's father Mars, had them drooped off alone to die, in order to make sure that they don't overthrow him.
The twins are somehow found by a friendly wolf and a woodpecker and are protected and raised by them. Soon enough, a kind shepherd takes the boys in.
One day, Remus was taken into captivity by the king. While there, both brothers discover that they are princes. While in the castle they manage to kill the king. They soon discover that instead of becoming duel kings, they want to found a city themselves
Once coming to present day Rome, the twins came to a disagreement. Romulus wanted the city to be on of Palatine Hill while Remus wanted Aventine Hill.
Since the brothers couldn't come to an agreement, they started building walls on each of the hills. One day Remus began to make fun of Romulus' wall. Remus jumped over the wall in order to show how simple it was to get over the wall. Because of this, Romulus became angry and killed Remus.
On April 21, 753 BC, Romulus became king of his city, naming it Rome after himself.
