  • The Boston Massacre happened on the streets of Boston March 5th, 1770. 5 people were killed 11 injured it was a tragic thing.
  • Declaration of Independence

  • The Boston Tea party happened on December 16, 1773. It was a group of colonist that decided that they were going to dress up as indians, and boarded ships filled with tea from Britain. They got on board and threw over 90,000 pounds of tea!!
  • Valley Forge
  • NO MEAT...NO CLOTHES...NO SHOES...NO SOLDIERS...
  • In this event in April 19, 1775 the British were marching from Boston To nearby Concord in order to take hold of the american army. In this event Paul Revere does his famous ride to warn the Americans

  • Valley Forge is were the american soldiers camped for the winter. They practiced through the harshest weather, but still practiced. Now not just in harsh weather but also no shoes/ clothing!! They started camping in December 19, 1777 until Spring.
  • The battle of Yorktown took place on September 28, 1781 in Yorktown VIrginia were the Americans and the french fought against the British and Hessians. The war ended with the british surrendering and victory for the Americans.
