  • Ahhh.. oxygen... ahhhh.. glucose..
  • CO2
  • Now I can make ATP!!!
  • In Photosynthesis, plants take in CO2, H2O, and sunlight. They then make these resourced into glucose and oxygen, as depicted in the scene above
  • This should be a great oxygen and glucose stew!
  • Animals use O2 and C6H12O6,  the products of photosynthesis, to create ATP for themselves
  • YUCK!! ATP hairball!
  • To Plant: Sorry :(
  • The cat, or animal, is taking the oxygen and glucose that it received from the plant to create ATP
  • CO2 + H2O
  • Deliver this to Plant, please
  • Of course! Hopefully Plant will accept your apology gift!
  • The cat, or animal, is using the oxygen and glucose given to it to create ATP
  • Oxygen
  • Glucose
  • The cat, or animal, is releasing the unwanted items such as carbon dioxide and water, and using the ATP as energy
  • After the animals go through the process of cellular respiration, they return the unwanted items, carbon dioxide and water, to the plants so they can create the items needed for cellular respiration. Photosynthesis uses the products of cellular respiration to make the reactants of cellular respiration
