The next day, Halt saw how much I was improving and decided to take me to a ramshackle in the forest and we were greeted by an old horse trainer named Old man. even though he smelt like a very unclean stable and was really clean he was likeable, he took us to the back of the hut where the horses and ponies were kept, none of the horses or ponies were sleek or gallant unlike the battle horses which I was a bit disappointed. he then introduced to Tug, my companion, when I first saw him I thought he wasn't an very impressive sight. they told me that Tug was faster than any battle horse I was doubtful at first but after the test that Halt gave me I was proven corrected and also when rode him. he was so fast, fast like the wind and he amazed me.
Next day was Harvest Day, a festival that everyone harvests the crops and store ahead of winter time. Me and Tug walking through the festival enjoying our time, tug was hungry and I could tell because he was staring at the apple in the apple tree. Then the Baron and I talked about if I enjoyed being a ranger, he left. Me and my friends sat down in the shade and ate some of Jenny's pies, we enjoyed our time until Horace came. Horace was being a bigger jerk than usual, I triggered him by referring him as an apprentice then we got a skirmish and Sir Rodney got mad at us and forced us to apologise.
At the first day of winter, we were hunting for rabbits and stoats for food and sport. There was a moment where we encountered a wild boar and we avoided it. Then we met Salt Peter who was hiding behind the bush, he said that boar destroyed nearly everything and everyone and then Halt became interested. Then he told Salt Peter in a threateningly way because he (Salt peter) insulted him for his height even though it was a accident and told him to go to castle to tell the baron and his men to go boar hunting tomorrow.
