Storyboard Text

  • Frame 1 - Longshot – eye-view: A young man walks into a beach via a gate. No other person can be seen on the beach. He has a towel over his shoulders and is wearing board shorts. He has earplugs in both his ears, which are connected toa mp-3 which he is holding in his hands. He is humming and nodding along with the music which cannot be heard. The sounds of birds chirping and waves are heard.
  • Frame 2 - Mid shot – low angle: The man drops his towel onto the sand then takes off his earplugs and bends to put them and his mp-3 player on top of the towel. He then once again stands up. The sounds of birds chirping and waves are heard.
  • Frame 3 - Close Up – eye-level: The camera is focused on the man’s face. He smiles, closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, lets the air out slowly and opens his eyes again. The sounds of birds chirping and waves are heard.
  • Frame 4 – Long-shot – low angle: The man's belongings are closest to thecamera and in the distance, the young man can be seen walking towards the waterand then entering it. The sounds of birds chirping and waves are heard.
  • Frame 5 – mid-shot – eye-level: The man is about waist height into the water and is moving his hands around in the water. He then starts swimming. The sound of the sea can be heard.
  • Frame 6 – close-up – eye-level: The camera is focused on a shark. The sharkis moving slowly. Ominous and mysterious music is heard.
