Hi! I'm Walter the Water Droplet and I'm going to teach you all about the water cycle. First, the sun heats up the water and little droplets slowly rise into the air. Well, let's give it a go.
You might have noticed that I have now become a cloud up in the sky after that. This is because of condensation in which a gas becomes a liquid.
Now that I have reached a mountain with the help of the breeze, I will fall back down as rain, sleet, hail or snow depending on the weather. This is precipitation.
Look at me! I'm in the middle of precipitation and because of the cold weather, I came down as snow.
I've landed on this other slope that's going to carry me to the river. This part is surface runoff.
Now I've rolled straight back to an ocean where it all began for me. And that is the water cycle for you.
Here we go again...
