Due on Friday 9-29-17 and is over physical science words!
Sure number 4 it would be fun to hang for a little while,
Hey Number 3 want to come to my house and help me with my physical science homework?
what I have to do is boil, freeze, and leave water a liquid, but i didn't really get what he was saying and I was wondering if you could help explain it for me.(1)
OK so when you boil water you want the water to be at 100 degrees Celsius to get it at the phase you want it to be at. Lets start at that first and then we can move on to freezing water.
OK so I put it on the stove but its not doing anything, but i turned it up all the way. What can i do to speed it up.
So when the water gets at its boiling point it will release a gas into the air to let you know that heat energy is coming off and will be hot. Now you try with this bowl of water.
Now I get it so now that it's done can we move on to the next property?
OK listen water does through a phase change which takes a little bit so don't worry it will be done in a few minutes.
OK so the next one is solid so what you do is change the temperature and turn it cold. So leave it in the freezer for about 3 or 4 hours and we will come back look at it. Remember to make sure its 32 degrees.
What about viscosity doesn't a solid have it because my teacher told us to figure it out as one of our questions.
No viscosity means it has a flow to to it but not a fast one. Honey it a perfect example because when it gets a certain temperature it would be an amorphous solid, which is when a substance is both a solid and a liquid. So it flows at just the perfect control.
Thanks see you later you later, for the liquid part of the homework.
