Dear Students, For the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester, classes will be online. Please keep watching your e-mail for updates. Stay Safe.President Jay
It is so exciting that we have technology to continue out education!
Yay! I guess I need to pack my bags, so I can go home.
Hopefully the internet works for you. We all know how it can be sometimes.
Taylor, I am so happy to have you home for the remainder of the semester.
Mom and Dad I am home! I was so excited when President Jay emailed us! Technology is great when we hear this news!
On March 13, Taylor received an email from the President of WVU, stating that all classes were going to be virtual for the remainder of the semester due to COVID-19.
Lecture Cannot Be Loaded
Hello students, I am sorry my internet will not let me post lectures. You will have to read the text and teach yourself the remainder of the semester.Professor Jean
Taylor was so excited that she was able to finish her semester online while being at home with her family. She started packing all her belongings to make the journey back home.
Yes, all my other professors are making us do all of the lectures on our own. They don't want to use zoom because they said it won't work with all the students in my class.
Mom! I can't believe my professor wants us to teach chemistry ourselves. All because her internet doesn't work at her house.
This is ridiculous. How can a professor tell students this. It would be amazing if the internet would just work.
As Taylor arrived at her house, she was greeted by her dog Miley and her new puppy Aspen. He mom mentioned to her that the internet hasn't been the greatest this past week. However, Taylor blew it off. I mean how could internet possible be bad?
I am so confused. Why can't my teachers just help their students... I am failing.
As Taylor was sitting at her desk in her childhood bedroom for the first day of classes, her lecture wouldn't' load. The professor emailed the class to let them know they were on their own for the remainder of the semester.
Taylor was frustrated and overwhelmed. She had no idea what she was going to do. As she was crying, she spoke with her mom about the situation and her mom said "That's ridiculous." They both were upset with the outcome of the class.
Are your other professors doing this also?
Taylor was in the middle of her exam. She wondered why her teachers couldn't just teach and not give up when their internet wouldn't work for one day. Last semester was a semester like no other.
Blackboard isn't even working for me to complete my test... ugh
