Also, Boyle made/discovered/named Boyle’s law by experimenting properties with air, since he was also a chemist.
He really didn’t have any church-religious controversy, since he is commonly referred as the “christian virtuoso.” Ergo, he is christian, and really didn’t have any negative connections to religion.
