M5U4 Activity 2: Communicating Results to Parents

M5U4 Activity 2: Communicating Results to Parents

Storyboard Description

Developing partnerships with parents/caregivers is an important factor in promoting student learning. Positive relationships with parents/caregivers can be developed early in the school year by reaching out and introducing yourself. Consistently updating them with positive feedback on their children’s performance develops trust. Working together requires teachers to listen to parents/caregivers and collaborate on strategies that support student learning. Periodically throughout the school year, you should meet with parents/caregivers to discuss the academic and social development of their children.
