Storyboard Text

  • The Rock Cycle starts when a volcano erupts.
  • The lava that erupts solidifies and turns into an igneous rock.
  • The igneous rock breaks into sediments over the years then weathering and erosion moves them away.
  • The sediments go to the bottom of the sea and get piled up and pressed with pressure to make a sedimentary rock.
  • The sedimentary rocks get piled with heat and pressure that changes the rocks into new rocks with different minerals. It is a metamorphic rock!
  • Then the sedimentary rock gets reeeeeeallyhot and turns into magma. Then it repeats.
