Storyboard Text

  • I feel like my sister has always had an unfair advantage in life because she always gets what she wants without much struggle
  • I got the job!
  • Of course you did (Sighs)
  • I applied to the same job as my sister and I worked hard for it too. I feel like the world is biased against me and always works in her favour
  • I lost the job
  • Thank you
  • I'm sorry that you lost the job. I am here to support you through this. I used to dislike you for getting everything, but now I feel bad
  • 3 Months Later...
  • I created symbolic meanings based on the interactions I had. My feelings of jealousy created a world in which I perceived my sister to be lucky. Now I know that this is not always the case
  • The transition of meaning moved from a world that was unfairly biased to a world of emotional need and support. This was a story of Interpretive Humanism and the approach to understanding meanings
