  • No jobs with good wages in Africa. Sitting at home with no money and no way to get a reasonable job.  
  • I can't find a job with enough money to give us food and aid!
  • REALLY?!!
  • They saying to go to a place where they need workers, you can get a job and get enough money.
  • Finding a way to get on a plane to America. Still deciding if it will would benefit them enough.
  • Is there a easier way to get there?
  • The only way to get there is by ship. It's a little risky though.
  • We don't wanna go anywhere!!!
  • Don't worry it's for the better...
  • On the way to America. Wondering about the pros and cons of migrating.

  • Economic migration- need money to support their family- need education and work. 
  • Segregating people. Discriminating from the color of their skin.
  • Large numbers began migrating north looking for better job opportunities and living conditions around 1900's to 1970's.
  • Missing home and all their family & friends. Having doubts on migrating.

  • Unaware of discrimination and segregation in America. Yet has so many risks to consider.
  • Impacts on America since the population has increased.
  • Majority of Africans migrating to the Americas went to North America where they saw a land of opportunity and education.
  • Discrimination and leaving family were leading causes of counter flow back to Africa.
  • More population meant more pollution and rubbish. This is a negative but massive and ongoing impact on America.
