C'mon men! We have got places to go! No time for sleeping! Get up! Hurry up! We came to fight, not sleep!
After Washington's first plan had not worked, him and the soldiers had came up with a new plan for attacking the Hessians by dawn on 12/26
The men have to load up all their weapons, food and water, and their boats to cross the river
After the men cross the river they are all very tired and start sleeping oint he edges of the water. When Washington crosses over he wants all men to get to walking immediately. They all complain about being too tired to do so but they do as commanded.
Victory Is Ours
As the men are walking over to find the Hessians they see a house out in a field. They ask what it is and is claimed to be a Guardshed that contains about 4 to 6 Hessians in there that are sleeping. They decide to attack and all Hessian men are killed.
General Rawl, General of the Hessians, has been shot and is about to die. He commands a man to go find General Washington and tell him to come speak to General Rawl before he dies. Washington is told it is of courtesy to do so at war.
The men are leaving with all of their men, meaning none died. The colonists won their first war which was also their first attack on someone else.
