Mrs. Koige, what's "Writ of Habeas Corpus?"
Jerome, we went over this yesterday! Writ of Habeas corpus is an order of the court that requires anyone, or any agency, holding another in custody to show proof, or two witnesses of the accused crime. Does anyone ELSE have a question?
Um, Mrs. Koige, why was it even created? Who is it meant to protect?
Andre, you fool. You SHOULD know that Habeas Corpus was originally created for politicians to not be wrongfully accused of a crime set-up by his/her political enemies. It is more commonly used as a defense against immediate incarceration for citizens. Both of you, outside.
