Mrs. Maloney is patiently waiting for her husband to come home, watching each and every second tick by become more and more excited
Hey Mrs Maloney! How are you?
Mr. Maloney comes home, but not as usual. He has something he needs to tell his wife, but she's not expecting what he has to say. And so he told her, he told her every little detail, and the expression on her face became more and more horrid
"How could this have happened to poor Mr. Maloney?"
It was such a shock for her, she didn't know what to. A handful of emotions compounded into her. She went to the freezer and grabbed a frozen leg of lamb. She hesitated for a second, then raised the meat above Mr. Maloney's head, and brought it down on him with all her force.
The story of Lamb of the Slaughter is a short story that starts off as Mrs. Maloney is patiently waiting for her husband to come home. After he arrives home, he is very quiet and seems down. He then tells her that he wants a divorce. She freaks out and hits and kills him with a frozen leg of lamb. She then goes to the grocery and acts like nothing happend, securing her alibi. She then comes home and calls the detectives. They can't find anything at all about the murder. They end up eating the murder weapon after Mrs. Maloney insists that they eat it because it would go to waste and they deserve it. She sits in the other room and listens to the detectives destroy the evidence.
She went to the grocery store to help secure her alibi. She acted as if nothing had happened and pretended to be her usually self. She then went back home and acted as if nothing had happened at all. She acted as if it were a surprise and then called the detectives (cops)
The detectives came and investigated. They couldn't find anything, not the murder weapon, no finger prints, no break in points, nothing. They became to come hungry and ended up giving in to Mrs. Maloney's insisting to eat the froxen leg of lamb that had been cooking in the oven for a while now (the murder weapon)
