The Rhone River (Punic Wars0 [Roman history]
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hannibal had taken his army on a mission to cross the Alps to invade Italy. He marches across France and offers the tribes in Gaul goods so they can pass.
However, he still gets halted by one of the local forces near the Rhone river who are Roman Allegiances.
Hannibal sends Hanno along with some company to cross the river from the top, which was more shallow, while the tribe assembles an army aiming to prevent Hannibals crossing.
Hanno and his team go behind the tribe and light a fire which signals Hannibal to cross the river.
So Hannibal crosses the river as the Gauls assemble to attack him.
And as Hannibal planned, Hanno and his team come out from hiding and attack the Gauls from behind.
