  • During the Summer Vacation, Ms. McKnight arranges her classroom, comes up with classroom rules and procedures, and prints out all the necessary paperwork she'll need during the year.
  • "I remember Ms. McKnight!"
  • During the first weeks of school she reinforces everything they've learned: "Now that we have gone over rules, lets put on a little skit showing the right way to enter the classroom. Any volunteers?"
  • A consistent daily schedule helps Ms. McKnight with behavioral management, and makes it easier for her students to focus on their activities.
