- Kate Barlow was once a nice, loving teacher. But, her boyfriend (who was black), got killed. After he was killed, she killed the sheriff because he wouldn't help Sam. She kissed the sheriff then killed him.
- After Zero hit Mr. Pendanski with a shovel and ran away, Stanley stole Mr. Sir's truck and went looking for Zero. He drove into a hole, climbed out and then ran.
- Stanley found Zero. They went up a mountain (Zero got sick from Sploosh so Stanley had to carry him, up the mountain. ) They found water and onions which they survived on. They were on the mountain for about a week and a half. They eventually had the energy to attempt returning to Camp Green Lake.
