  • In 1771, a group of colonist's protest thirteen years of increasing Bristish oppression by attacking merchant ships in Boston Harbor.
  • In Boston Harbor, a group of Massachusetts colonist disguised as Mohawk Indians board three Bristish tea ships and dump 342 chests of tea into the harbor.
  • "We do not want to pay taxes on the British tea.
  • It was in Boston Harbor on December 16,1773
  • "It took nearly 3 hours for more than 100 colonist empty the tea into Boston Harbor. The chest held more than 90,000 lbs. Which would cost nearly 1,000,000 dollars today."
  • This became one of the causes of " The American Revolution"
