Storyboard Description

Over the course of Reading Clinic with MaLeah, I noticed that I needed to work on providing more meaningful feedback for her before and after activities. As the weeks went on, I noticed that I started to make progress in that area and that MaLeah was noticing it some. I'm still not the best at it, but I have made a big change!

Storyboard Text

  • Okay, MaLeah now we are going to do something called a wordle. It looks like this!
  • *looking over video*
  • Why didn't I mention anything about the activity she had just finished instead of just moving on to the next activity? I need to better for next time!
  • Awesome job, using descriptive words like you did makes our writing more fun to read!
  • Thanks for the feedback Miss Maiers!
  • *looking over video*
  • Hmm, I must be providing better feedback for MaLeah... she even thanked me for it!
  • So what did we just read about? Awesome, we'll keep reading to see what happens next! Now we are going to create an invitation for your family!
  • I can't wait to keep reading this book! And that sounds like fun! What is it for?
  • *looking over video*
  • I feel so much more confident in providing meaningful feedback now! My skills have improved a lot from getting to work on it with MaLeah.
