This is Archie Andrews. A fun-loving, all-American teenager. He was created by Bob Montana in 1941. Some may call him Archie Average Joe. But, Archie Andrews has been the youngster we all know and love since 1941.

Bob Montana is the original artist behind Archie comics first created Archie and the cast on Dec 1941, working with writer Vic Bloom, and publisher John L. Goldwater.
As the years went by, Montana added more characters added to the Archie-verse. More main characters such as Jughead, Betty, Veronica and Reggie, and supporting characters like Midge, Moose, Dilton, Chuck and Nancy.

Unfortunately, Montana died of a heart attack on January 4, 1975. The team decided to continue Archie comics in Montana's honor. They knew that would be what he would've wanted.

Remembering Bob Montana
To this day, the Archie Superstars continue to crank out new Archie comics with the seasons and holidays. Although Archie has been in many different scenarios, he is still the ordinary citizen we read about. Fans have gone ahead and created theories about split personalities, or even a time machine.
People wonder, but the storyboard creators haven't explained the different stories.
If you were to bring up the name Archie Andrews, almost everyone would go ballistic about KJ Apa, the actor who plays Archie on the hit series, Riverdale. But I think we should respect Montana for creating Archie himself. Riverdale isn't even close to the comics. This should stop and the comics should replace the show that replaced the comics.
Now I'm ready to start another normal day in the life of Archie Andrews. Ready, Betts?
