Storyboard Text

  • Prologue
  • Two households, both alike in dignity. In fair Verona where we lay our scene
  • Act One
  • Throw your mistempered weapons to the ground and hear the sentence of your moved prince
  • Act Two
  • Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow.
  • The play is set in Verona Italy, where the Capulets and Montagues have a feud that is ended by the death of their children.
  • Act Three
  • O, I am fortune's fool!
  • Capulet and Montague servants exchange insults and a huge brawl breaks out. The prince warns the families if the feud continues they will face death
  • Act Four
  • Take thou this vial, being in bed, and distilling liquor drink thou of
  • Romeo and Juliet fall in love but they can not be together. They get married in secret.
  • Act Five
  • This is thy sheath; there rust, and let me die.
  • Tybalt kills Mercutio and Romeo kills Tybalt. Romeo is banished by the prince. Juliet weeps for Romeo but her parents think it's for Tybalt.
  • Juliet's father wants her to marry Paris. She goes to Friar Lawrence to come up with a plan. She gets a sleeping potion and lies to her father that she will marry Paris.
  • Juliet takes a sleeping potion to make her family think she is dead. Romeo gets to her too soon and kills himself. Juliet awakes and finds Romeo dead and kills herself. Friar Lawrence tells the families what happended
