When Jesus got to Golgotha, He was put on the cross to be crucified. There were two other people on both sides of him.
The letters "I.N.R.I" were on Jesus' cross which stood for, "This is the King of the Jews."
Since the soldiers couldn't give Jesus real water, they gave Him some sour wine to drink.
There they crucified Him, and with Him two others, one on either side of Him, and Jesus between them. (John 19:18)
After Jesus had died, a soldier took a spear and plunged it into His side to make sure that He was dead.
There was also an inscription over Him, "This is the King of the Jews." (Luke 23:28)
Joseph wrapped Jesus up and laid Him in the tomb. Then, He rolled a big rock in front of the tomb.
And one of them at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine, and put it on a reed and give it to Him to drink. (Matthew 27:48)
When women came to visit the tomb of Jesus, lightning struck the tomb and the rock covering the tomb rolled to the side. There was an angel who then told them that Jesus had risen.
One of the soldiers plunged his spear into Jesus' side, and at once blood and water poured out. (John 19:34)
Joseph took the body, wrapped it in clean linen cloth, and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. (Matthew 27:59-60)
But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, as He said. Come and see the place where He lay." (Matthew 28:55-56)
