Storyboard Text

  • Preferential Option for the Poor
  • I live in a world that is very precious and beautiful. But unfortunately this world can be unfair and unjust.
  • Did you know that lots of people in our world today live without food and water everyday? Did you know they don't have access to a education or medicine?
  • Taylor Merritt
  • God made the world for us to share. We can do this by donating our money or food to those who aren't as fortunate as us.
  • Yet even though we have food and money, many people chose to be selfish and now share their wealth
  • But this is what our world is like. The richest people get more than the poor people
  • And the rich people don't share their wealth with the poor people, the ones who need it the most.
  • IT"S NOT FAIR! And God doesn't want our world this way.
  • In many countries, there is both wealthy and poor people.
  • Canada is a rich country with poor people. Many people live without access to food or clean water, while many also have excess amounts.
  • Many live without roofs over their heads. It is not fair especially in a rich country like Canada when we can fix this issue.
  • What exactly can we do to help the poor?
  • God calls on us to put the needs of societys most poor and vulnerable members first.
  • Food
  • Time
  • Money
