  • Hamartia - Fatal Flaw
  • Hubris - Excessive Pride
  • Peripeteia - Reversal of Fortune (beginning)
  • Hamlet wants proof that Claudius killed his Father so that when he gets his revenge, it's fair. Hamlet is overly obsessive and indecisive because of the fact that he wants revenge for his Father's death.
  • Peripeteia - Reversal of Fortune (end)
  • The Ghost of his Father told him how he was murdered, It was Claudius, Hamlet's uncle. When he kills Claudius, Hamlet has so much pride in himself that he has gotten his revenge.
  • Anagnorisis - Dear Moment
  • In the beginning of the story, Hamlet is trying to kill Claudius, his uncle who killed his Father. Hamlet is seen as a powerful prince throughout the beginning of the tragedy.
  • Nemesis - Enemy
  • Hamlet is killed by Claudius and that creates a completely opposite image for Hamlet. Everyone has this new idea that he was crazy and then now he's just dead.
  • Hamlet has realized that it is all his fault that everyone around him is dead. He now has the image of being "crazy."
  • Hamlet's true enemy is Claudius, his uncle. Claudius killed Hamlet's Father, his brother and married Hamlet's Mother to crown himself king. Claudius is the reason Hamlet becomes crazy and dies at the end of the tragedy.
