  • Exposition: The Death of King Uther
  • The King has died!
  • No! This is impossible!
  • Rising Action: The Tournament
  • Haha! Yeah right!
  • I shall be the one to pull the sword out!
  • Climax: The Sword in the Stone
  • Wart you did it! Kay are you seeing this?!
  • He sure did..
  • King Pellinore brings sad news to Sir Ector that King Uther died. But, the King left no next-of-kin to be the next king.
  • Falling Action: The False King
  • Now, there is no King of Gramarye. There will be a tournament held all over England and whoever can pull the sword from the stone will be the Rightful King of England.
  • Resolution: The True Rightful King
  • I am a liar! The Wart was the one to pull the sword out!
  • Kay, Sir Ector, and the Wart all go to the tournament since everyone else will be going to try and pull the sword out. After the Warts third time up to the stone, he put out his right hand softly and drew it out as gently as from a scabbard.
  • Theme: Bravery
  • I, the Wart, am now the Rightful King of England!
  • After the sword was pulled, Kay claims that he pulled the sword out and now he is about to be crowned King of England.
  • When Kay is about to be crowned King, Kay admits that he is a liar and that the Wart pulled the sword out. Now, the Wart is now the Rightful King of England.
  • Kay demonstrates bravery because he was brave enough to admit that the Wart was the one to pull the sword from out of the stone.
