Process Improvement: Project Requests to Asana

Meet Chloe. She is a Market Manager that is looking to request a new external creative project. She's on a tight timeline, but knows that requests tend to bottleneck in the approval process, as all projects funnel through a Google Form to the VP of Marketing for approval before entering Asana.
Chloe is about to try the improved interface, where the questions in the form establish a track that projects will go on for different layers of approval. It also connects directly to Asana to allow for a seamless transition after approval.
Chloe will now answer a series of questions about her project. Depending on her responses, her project will be sent to either the Director of Marketing or the VP of Marketing to split up the volume of requests funneling to one person.
Since this is an external, client-facing project, the request was sent to the VP of Marketing. After reading through the responses, she decides to approve the project.
The project is now live in Asana and is available to the creative team. The team members can now work on their respective aspects of the project and update their progress within Asana.
The turn-around time on my project request greatly decreased thanks to the streamlined process. It was more transparent and effective in keeping communication lines open and converting requests into projects.
