Apollo was angry but couldn't take the gift away. He could only add to it.
From that time on, Cassandra could see the future, but no one believed a thing she said.
Later, Cassandra warned her people that Trojan horse the Greeks gave them was full of Greek warriors that would destroy the city.
The people of Troy didn't believe her. They were too busy celebrating the defeat of the Greeks.
But the horse was full of Greek warriors. That night they crept out of the horse and opened the city gates.
That was the end of Troy.
