  • Seneca Falls Convention 
  • Seneca falls convention was the first women rights convention in the US held in July 1848 in Seneca falls in New York, it fought for social, civil and religious rights of women the meeting was held from July 19 to the 20. Elizabeth Cady Stanton, one of the meetings organizer lead with a speech of the conventions goals and purpose. Lucretia Mott was also one of the organizers of the women rights convention she was a preacher from Philadelphia who was known for her anti slavery, women's rights and religious reform activism. in the reform the women wrote a Deceleration of Sentiments which was written primarily by Elizabeth and it highlighted women's grievances and demands, it called on women to fight for their constitutionally guaranteed right t equality as U.S. citizens.

"

  •  Susan B Anthony, an women's rights activists, devoted her life to racial, gender, and educational equality. one of the most famous for the role she played in the women's suffrage movement which gave women the right to vote.
  •  the 19th amendment gave citizens of the US the right to vote no matter the sex, it happened June 4th 1919 and ratified on August 18 1920
  • they also wanted women's emancipation. against slavery, including the sexual exploitation of enslaved women and the legal denial of their right to protect their children. Such women always treated racial justice and women's rights as interlinked goals
