  • Teaching our students about how to recognize spam email and what they should do when they receive unfamiliar people is an awesome idea!
  • Yes, we want them to always practice cyber safety! They need to realize spam email includes messages from strangers or strange messages from people they know.
  • Let's be sure to give them these examples of spam email by LIfewire in the article ,What is an Example of Spam Email? 1. messages you did not ask for from strangers. 2. Unsolicited commercial email messages sent in bulk, often using a purchased (or stolen) mailing list that includes your address.3. Counterfeit messages that look like they were sent by reliable sources and attempt to trick you into supplying your personal information.4.Misleading messages from people you know whose email accounts have been hacked.
  • And, we need to let them know they should: 1. Never open spam email.2. Don't give out personal information.3. Check the sender's email address.4. Mark strange emails as spam.5. Use filters to trash spam email .
