  • Thank you Elizabeth, cider?

  • Why did you allow Mary Warren go to Salem when I forbade it?!
  • You need to go to court and tell them it is all a fraud
  • I am afraid they will not believe my word.
  • John Proctor just arrived home late from the farm and Elizabeth greets him with prepared dinner to begin the act II off.
  • I brought you a doll I worked on all day to give to you Goody Proctor!
  • Why did you think leaving to Salem was your choice?
  • John becomes mad at Elizabeth for letting Mary Warren go to Salem and be involved in the court that day.
  • Oh goodness John, Abigail is out to kill me!
  • There is talk in the courts of hangin and I regret to inform you, Goody Proctor, but your name was mentioned.
  • Elizabeth wants him to go to the courts and defend what they both know as the truth.
  • I will be your only wife, or no wife at all!
  • In this scene, Mary Warren comes back home and because she knows John Proctor will be angry at her for leaving, she gives Goody Proctor the doll to compensate.
